Happy 3rd Birthday Jack!

Sunday was Jack's 3rd birthday and his party was tonight at Jump Zone! I recommend it to anyone with kids (it wears them OUT!) Here's a group picture of all the kiddos. He had lots of friends come help in celebrate!
The fun begins! Lauren taking Amelia & Arden down the slide. Amelia was dying to get in there!!!
Nana took Luke and Jack down the HUGE slide, it was pretty hilarious! Check out Luke's face here...not so sure. But at the end he just laughed and couldn't get enough.
Jack talked everyone into going down the HUGE slide with him. Here he is with papaw.
This was the end result with papaw...pretty funny!
He even talked me into doing the slide with him. OH MY...check out my face. It was really fun though, I had to take Amelia too!
Arden holding on VERY tightly to her sister, Claire as they went down the slide.
Jack and Arden getting ready to go again.
Amelia had to get in on some of the action herself!
This is what the boys did the whole time! Blue vs Green
Nana with a very tired Luke and the birthday boy, JACK!

Engaged for a YEAR

A year ago yesterday is when Wes and I got engaged!!! I can't believe it's already been a whole year...wow where does time go? I remember thinking it would feel like forever for March 28, 2010 to get here. And then we finally set a date and that was over a year away. Now we only have 54 days until our wedding!!! I'm getting really excited. It's finally kicking in that we really are getting married. All the festivities have started like: marriage counseling, couples shower THIS weekend, planning & booking our honeymoon, getting gifts in the mail, getting our RSVP's returned, etc! I mean I already have my dress, bridesmaids dresses, groom/groomens attire, shoes, flowers, decor, rentals, and so on but I've been doing all that for a year now.

Spring is on it's way!

We took advantage of the weather BIG time yesterday! Wes and I had a few errands to run in the morning and then we headed to the farm to spend the afternoon!
We started off by Wes catching a chicken and trying to put him to sleep! Pretty funny...only Wes would know how to do this.
Then we were off on a 4-wheeler ride to find papw and granny.
Quick shot of Wes and I following the crew on the 4-wheelers.
They aren't scared of anyting anymore. They get sooo close to you! (kinda scary too)
Poor Hudson was cold so we wrapped him up in whatever we could find!
When we got back to the house we had dinner and then the adults played cards. We got Jack a little cookie decorating activity going to keep him busy.
Check out that ONE cookie...it has about 1 cup of icing & 3 cups of sprinkles! Hey...it kept him busy while we got to play. He stood on that stool for over an hour. His legs were asleep when we got done :(
Andrea is the only one who smiled...thanks
Check out all my green cards...that's what you're going for. The more green cards you get the more points you get.
Then we did a little Scarlett photo shoot! Here she is at I think 33 weeks (or close to it)
She's definitely getting BIG and growing healthy. I can't believe she will be here in no time!
Oh Uncle Wes being silly! He's knocking to see if anyone will answer, she didn't knock back.
Little happy family!

Friday Night Fun

Wes and I started our Friday night off with some yummy sushi! We went to Shoguns to enjoy our favorite meal...SUSHI! He love the shrimp tempera roll and I love the california roll with cream cheese or the sams roll. It was delicious!

Then we were off to add some things to our registry at Bed Bath Beyond! I wanted Wes to add some things that he wanted so he felt more included. And our couples shower is next weekend so maybe he will get some good gut stuff. He wanted some single coffee cup maker (which I love too we have one at work) and some grilling stuff like a frying pan & some tools. After adding some things and re-doing a few things on our registry we were off to Target!
We had to run in and get a few things! So we had a pretty busy and good Friday night. Now were going to watch a movie or let Wes play on the computer. That would be fine with me, I'm exhausted today!

going on a pearl hunt

Mom and I had a busy productive day! I got up this morning and cleaned, met Allison for lunch at Noodles, and headed to the mall to meet mom. We had LOTS of things to mark off of my "wedding to do" list. First thing was to find brooches and earrings for the bridemaids dresses. I think we may have successfully completed that task.
Next was FIND bridesmaids shoes! I have looked EVERYWHERE for shoes that I like and that aren't $100. You know how hard that has been. I mean I have seriously looked everywhere. Mom and I finally found some at Aldo's that are really cute and pretty inexpensive. And I think everyone will wear them again.

We ran lots more errands like pick up some shoes for mom (like she doesn't have enough), find me some dresses (for all my showers), get my toasting glasses & serving pieces, Hobby Lobby, get hostess gifts, find an ink pen for my guest book (didn't find one), get paper products, find jewelry, & by new underwear. WHEW...I was worn out! We had a full day of fun and got lots accomplished! I came straight home to try on Lynlea's dress with the new shoes and I love it. FINALLY...the girls are complete!
Wes and I have a few things to get done this weekend...he just doesn't know it yet. :)
Happy Thursday!

Girls Weekend

I had a girl weekend this past weekend! Oh boy was it fun or what....I stayed with Jessi, Jinjer, & Joslin while Brooke and Monte went out of town. So we had a fun girly weekend! Saturday we went to the mall to eat lunch and walk around before the snow came. Then headed home to order pizza and watch movies all night long. Look at this little sweet baby...Joslin loves her bath time!
Sunday we got up and ready for church but then decided to stay in since we got so much snow. Look how cute her outfit was I put together for her to wear. I let Jessi and Jinjer sleep in Sunday morning since there wasn't much we could do. Joslin woke up at 2:30 for a bottle and 6 for another bottle and then slept til 9 so I got plenty of sleep.
We watched "Old Dogs" in their theatre room. Here is Jessi and Jinjer ready for their movie date!
And me and Joslin ready to watch. I was trying to keep her up as late as possible so maybe she would sleep a little longer...HA!
Happy little Jumping Bean! This loves to jump and act wild. Whoever came up with this invention was a genius! She is really the best baby ever. I had a great weekend with the girls!

Cook Out

The weather was awesome yesterday so we decided to take advantage and cookout at Allison and Bert's house. Bert grilled us porkchops, I brought salad and bread, and Allison did BIG baked potatoes. It was yummy.... Then of course Allison and Bert wanted to show off Cheeto's Easter outfit. Yep the cat has an Easter tie...Don't Ask! If you look close enough you can see it.
Now today it's rainny, nasty, cold, yucky, gross, miserable outside. I'm sooo bummed! It's supposed to snow/sleet tonight and tomorrow morning. It's March 20 and we're STILL getting snow? It's Spring Break and we're STILL getting snow? I don't know what's going on but I don't like it. I'm off to the Johnston's house to keep the girls until Monday!!!

I've had the craziest dream lately ALL about weddings and mostly flowers. Could it be because my wedding is only 65 days away? WOW...time has really flown by! It's been almost a year since we got engaged and I thought at the time May 22, 2010 was FOREVER away. Boy was I wrong. I can't believe how close it really is and I still have a few things to get done. Oh...I love this bouquet with white peonies, hydrangeas, & roses and green viburnum! I think it's beautiful!!!

A few nights ago I dreamed that Wes and I got married in Paris in this amazing church! It was a HUGE wedding with over 1,000 people there. I had dresses flown in from different designers for the guests to wear and pick from. Food buffett that consist of the most delicious foods you could ever dream of. I had like 25 bridesmaids...I only remember a few faces. My sister Lynlea, Laci, Angela, Allison, and some girls from my childhood...WEIRD! I wore this HUGE ball gown dress like the one below with a really long 20 foot veil. It was a wedding that will be TOTALLY different from the one I'm really having.

This dress is gorgeous and the movie is hilarious!
Flowers....they have been everywhere in all my dreams!
I've had lots of dreams about my real wedding and a few details that are really weird. Lastnight I dreamed that we had the perfect weather all year for the wedding day. In all of my dreams the weather has been awesome so hopefully that's a sign! Bell Gable is to die for beautiful so I can't wait to get married there in the yard right in front of the doors!
I love this bouquet too!!! Oh...I can't wait to see mine!

Happy Birthday to Monica

Sunday night Allison, Bert, Wes, and I joined Monica and a few friends at Olive Garden to celebrate her birthday! She wouldn't tell how old she was turning but Allison thinks 30!!! Hey, that's ok...Wes is 30 too!

Friday Night at Guidos

Friday night Wes and I ate Guidos pizza with the gang and then went to Heath and Andrea's house. We stopped by to see thier new hardwood floors they just got in. Of course, Luke found a box and was all about it!
So Nana took him on a ride, or a few rides I should say! He was having himself some FUN!
Kimberli came over late Friday night to spend the night! Saturday morning after breakfast and some play dough time it was time for a bath! I thought I should grab a quick picture with her shampoo hair do! This girl is a MESS!
