Wes carved our turkey this year....first time for everything! I think this turkey has been the BEST we have ever had. It was delicious!
Wes and I about to dig into all the yummy food we had!
Some pies mom paid the night before. She did a pie exchange with a friend from work!
I guess Thanksgiving really does make you need a nap! The dogs passed OUT for the afternoon with mimi.
Hemi on his princess bed...HA
Mom keeps all of the dogs toys in this drawer so they aren't scattered everywhere. Well Lyla ALWAYS begs for someone to lift her up to get her pick of a baby or a bone. Instead we scooted the chair over for her to help herself...Priceless!
Me and my babies. Wes was gone to pick up the turkey sorry no family pic!
Wes and I attempted our wedding registry this weekend! I thought this would be a lot easier than it was. I've been making notes of things we really need and things I want....this is over whelming to say the least. We started off at Target on Friday night but ended up at Bed, Bath, & Beyond to do 1 of our registries. I love Target but I didn't want to have a million registries scattered all over the place. You can get anything at BBB so that's we're we began the fun. Wes was in charge of the gun and I made notes as we went along. By this time we didn't have much time to finich so we scanned a few things and decided to call it a night. We would be back though......
A few of our favorite things that are on our list and things we really "NEED" are below!
I really want a great pot & pan set, we cook every single night through the week!
Next is my every day dishes, I'm not doing the whole china thing so I want nice dinnerware. I already have some china that my grandmother gave me and who really uses that stuff anyway. There is one local boutique that carries "Juliska" that I have found so far. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!!
And who could forget the Kitchen Aid Mixer....I love this and I would put it to great use! I either want this great color or RED...I'm kinda leaning towards red!!!
all the boys...minus heath getting ready to go to the deer stands.
family picture. luke wasn't to thrilled about the chains to hang the deer up...too loud for him.
dustin's 1st deer. pretty big doe huh. i think she weighed 137 lb. great job dustin, we're proud of you. (doesn't that sound like something gurdy would say)oh dave had to show out and get a 6 point. he weighed 145lbs...i guessed it right on the money. but i didn't win anything. good job davo!
Dad's birthday was Sunday so we hit up Noodles for lunch after church. The boys suprised him with a chocolate ice cream cake from Stone Cold....YUMMO! It was soooooo good! Then that night we went over to his house for dinner, presents, and more dessert!
SCOREBOARD....SCOREBOARD Wes the "W" is Westley's score and the "H" is mine. 1st & 2nd place, ha! Wes was almost double my score but I want to point out that I got 1 STRIKE, whoooo hooooo! I'm not the best bowler if you can't tell by my score but Wes did pretty darn good.
Time Out for a picture after our 1st game and getting ready for our 2nd. I like to bowl especially with a big group of friends. I think we have more fun goofing off than being serious. I mean who can be serious when you are terrible.
Family shot minus Ashley. It was Brandon's (far right) 21st Birthday so we celebrated by going to FastLanes and bowling. This was our 1st time there and it was pretty fun. We we're in the "fun" bowling room and ordered a HUGE pizza. I mean 1 pizza fed all 14 of us...It was HUGE!!!
Look at the newest addition to the farm....25 chicks! They are 2 days old here.
They are sooooo tiny!!! I wanted to put him/her in my pocket and carry it around.
2 Chicks with 2 Chicks!!!
Getting ready for the hayride! Our decorations were soooo cute!
Can you tell Luke had just woke up? The 4-wheeler actually woke him up, he loves that thing. He wont take his eyes off of it. It's like he begs for you to take him on a ride.
Laci and Chloe, she wasn't diggin the hat.
Group shot. We had to take a quick bathroom run before the hayride started.
On the hayride. You can't tell but Luke is there too, he's just passed out!!!
I was all alone since Wes pulled us.
Family shot except Luke is hidden.
Friday night was the annual hayride out at the farm. We had a great turn out, about 50-60 people total. We had hot dogs, chili, chips, dip, and lots of desserts. We had a huge bon fire and roasted marsh mellows...yummy!
