A few weekends ago Wes and I went to my school's fundraiser...La Fiesta!

They had a live & silent auction, 2 bands, all you can eat/drink, and dancing all night long. Some of the cool auction items from some of the parents were Custom made Harley Davidson, Private jet to the Ark vs Alabama game for 8, Wine tasteing party for 30 guests, ALL kinds of gift cards, Coach purses, kid bday parties, etc. Each class made their own basket with donations from the class parents. Some of those were IPad, 3 Day trip to Big Cedar, Gift Card basket, Digital camera with all the accessories, and tons more. Some of the baskets were worth $500-1500 dollars and went for double the value. The teachers participate in a "gift of time" donation for the parents to bid on for thier child. Mine was pedicures with Ms. Haley OR Gatorgolf and dinner at Chick fil A! Some others were lock in at the school for 15 friends, gold lessons, dinner at Shoguns, Ice cream date, dinner in the park & play, Movie date, etc. These go for crazy amounts too....I think the highest one I saw was $600 for the lock in! I'm taking my little girl Wednesday after school!!!
