Happy Birthday Lynlea

I've had a busy Christmas break so far...Sunday night we went to mom's house and celebrated Lynlea's 22nd birthday!
She cooked spaghetti and fried chicken for all of us.
Monday was her actual birthday! I had lunch with Laci and Scarlett....YIPPIE! They have both been a little under the weather so Laci took off one more day to stay home. Worked out great for me bc I got to see little MISS! We hit up Jason's deli and then I ran a few errands before Wes and I went to dad's to have steaks for Lynlea's birthday!
Today I took Roxi to the vet for a check up and booster shots!
She was perfectly healthy and everything looked good, thank goodness. (Mom and PAUL are already attached BIG TIME) She took a sample from her paw for skin mites and made it bleed a little so she got a hot pink bandage. As you can see she HATED the bandage and ripped it off before we made it very far. (no skin mite...good girl)
Grabbed lunch with mom, ran a few errands, took Roxi home, cleaned my house, and Allison and Bert came over for chili and we watched football.

Now off to pack for a fun filled Little Rock Christmas tomorrow!!!

oh happy day...

Wes planned our Saturday for us....Guess Where To????
He has been wanting to go to Bass Pro in Springfield just to mess around and find a new pair of work boots so we headed over for the day with Mom and Paul.
I had no idea what to expect...it was way bigger  than I ever imagined! :)
That place has everything a guy could ever want "Guys Mall of America" I decided as of yesterday. I enjoyed just hanging out and looking around at all the animals.
They had this HUGE American alligator too. I wasn't sure if it was real or not but it finally moved! YIKES!
We didn't find any boots but we still had a good time. As we were leaving I saw "puppies for sale" sign and had to stop. I just wanted to "look" at all the cute babies real fast before we headed home. Well....they had this little King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and it just happened to be a girl and then she just happened to be in the truck riding home with us! :)

Mom's new Christmas girl!!! She is soooo cute and sooooo sweet!!! Mom has been wanting a little girl for a while so it was meant to be. Meet ROXI!!!!
Hemi and Lyla met her last night and they wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with her, poor Roxi. I know they will get used to her and end up loving her. It will just take some time...they are the babies. (So they think)

WHO doesn't love godiva chocolates??? I didn't think so...so yummy!

Vanilla hand lotion (I needed that SO BAD...my hands are so dry)

A HUGE sack full of makeup! There was all kinds and I loved it all...lip stick, lip gloss, mascara, eye shadows, eye liner, lash curler, powder, you name it.

More Target gift cards, yippie!
Hand bag from China! One of my parents had traveled to China last year with her husband went to one of the largest markets "Silk Trade" market and picked this bag up. She wrote me a little note all about it...She was waiting on the right person to give it to, someone who is "fashionable." :) I thought it was so neat and I can't wait to carry it somewhere special.
