pizza date

Last night Wes and I went to eat pizza with the Cherry's! SO FUN!!! Little miss enjoyed her dinner too.

Laci has been talking about getting Scarlett's ears pierced for the loooongest time and they finally did it last night. This was right before. 

She was in the best mood last night so it was the perfect opportunity to do it.  Laci said she cried for seriously less than 15 seconds and then she had forgotten about it.

How sweet does she look with those???? seriously!!!! 

Such a happy baby...bath time doesn't get any better.  

CitiScapes

I've been waiting forever for January's issue to come out and I finally got a hold of one (or a few)

January is the "Wedding Issue" and our photographer Jessica Ritchie sent some pics to CitiScapes and they chose our wedding to feature. We got a full page that told all the details: bridal gown, tux, rings, wedding planner, photog, food, rentals, etc. 

Then they featured my blue shoes on another page and told a little quote of something I had told her about them. 

Oh AND don't forget the fan programs that were SO CUTE!!! 

I feel so special that my wedding was chosen as one of the featured weddings!!! SO FUN!!!

welcome home

this is what hunting for 4 days looks like minus all the bedding stuff & cooler. geesh...i thought i was a heavy packer.

wes came home yesterday afternoon so i decided i would make his favorite dessert: banana pudding! i usually hate it but laci introduced me to a new and improved recipe "not yo' momma's banana puddin'" and it is delicious!!! and it's soooo pretty all done up.

i had me a little taste before he made it home, ha.  

i also finished my burlap wreath and i think it turned out so cute! 

someone missed their daddy or is it someone missed thier hambone??? 

Happy New Year

This year was a laid back year! Lynlea and I hung out and met Laci and Scarlett for dinner since the guys are still oot hunting! Little Miss was wild. She is developing the best personality and she wants to make sure everyone sees her.

So Happy.

She was eating anything she could get her hands on.

Then we came home and hung out with these little munchkins. 

We didn't even make it til midnight but ole well...we tried!

road trip with the dogs

I went with mom to take mema back home after all the Christmas festivities...and so did Nicholas (mema's dog), and my two dogs Hemi and Lyla...CRAZY!!! Mom and I met Katie and Aunt Tammy to eat mexican food and do a quick catch up!

it poured down rain on us all the way there...5.5 hours total! I made my dogs hold it but Niki couldn't make it! 

Ready to get back in the car?? 

Poor Lyla! She stood up there the entire time that mom and I were in Zaxby's (and it was about 30 minutes). Mom met up with an old friend to catch up and then mom and I ran into a few cute shops! 

I've been wanting these!!! They were on sale (WHAT) so I just had to get them.

Elf on the Shelf!!! LOVE!!! Kids in my class have been talking about their elf at home and I had never heard of such a thing so I can't wait to start this tradition with my kids. (I will start it a little early...next year with Wes) HA
