Wes all dressed and ready to head to the deer stands! (this was actually the night before) They had breakfast at 4:30 because they had to be in their stand by 5:30...woooo dog, that's EARLY!
Granny got a LARGE 8 pt that morning but everyone else passed up on theirs. Wes didn't see anything in the am but he had better luck in the afternoon. He got his first deer ever...a nice 8 pt buck. He was pretty stinking excited!!!
And so was I...it was only his 2nd time in a deer stand so this was pretty good for his first deer!
Terry got a big buck too at dark lastnight! Dave got a nice doe that I don't have a picture of...sorry!
Little miss went on her first deer retrival trip lastnight. She was wide eyed and bushy tail (no pun intended) checking out the whole scene.
