1st night

First night in Mazatlan...and pre-tan, ha!

Happy Birthday To Wes!!!

Yesterday was Westley's birthday!!! We started off with breakfast with his parents since the day before his was his dads and we were gone. Did some laundry (from our trip) and got our house back together and then headed to mom's for chili, cake, presents, and football! He wanted a cookie cake...good choice!

We had a pretty good and relaxing day...back to the grind today after a great holiday at the beach. Then tonight we're having dinner with some friends to continue the celebration.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

oh man...it's finally here! I got Wes packed lastnight and I'm working on mine tonight so we will be good and ready for our super EARLY flight to MEXICO!!! I can't wait to go walk on the beach!

I can't wait to lay out by the pool ALL DAY LONG!!! 

I can't wait to go to the mega store and use their little ramp with carts, ha! 

I can't wait to get a massage....I'm getting one every other day while we are there P.U.M.P.E.D. 

I can't wait to take self portraits every day in the house! 

I can't wait to eat the amazing food...and go to Pancho's! (We've missed him) 

I can't wait to see the gigantic jack rabbits. 

I can't wait!!! Happy 6 months to Wes and I! We will celebrate big in Mexico!!!

happy early birthday

I let Wes open a few gifts a little early this year, hope I don't turn into mom...(she ALWAYS gives everyone their gifts early and she can't keep a secret, ha) BUT...he needed his under armour stuff early to go hunting so I gave in!

He loved them and thought he looked pretty cute too, ha!!! 

The dogs "watched" while he got all of his gear on and everything laid out for an early morning.

deer stand

Wes all dressed and ready to head to the deer stands! (this was actually the night before) They had breakfast at 4:30 because they had to be in their stand by 5:30...woooo dog, that's EARLY!

Granny got a LARGE 8 pt that morning but everyone else passed up on theirs. Wes didn't see anything in the am but he had better luck in the afternoon. He got his first deer ever...a nice 8 pt buck. He was pretty stinking excited!!! 

And so was I...it was only his 2nd time in a deer stand so this was pretty good for his first deer! 

Terry got a big buck too at dark lastnight! Dave got a nice doe that I don't have a picture of...sorry! 

Little miss went on her first deer retrival trip lastnight. She was wide eyed and bushy tail (no pun intended) checking out the whole scene.

wes and i met laci and dave lastnight at shoguns for dinner. they got a babysitter so we had us a big adult night out...ha

we had a good dinner even if they lost our ticket and it took 2 hours just to get our food...UGH

laci made banana pudding (westley's fav) and snuck it in her purse for dessert. it was soooo good and i'm not a huge banana pudding fan.

I did it!!! I put my tree up...I couldn't stand it any longer. We normally get a real tree but I've been wanting a really good fake one and finally found one I liked at Hobby.  So while Wes, Paul, and the boys went to the farm Sunday to shoot their guns mom came over to help me. He is the before...

And here is the after.... I still may get some ribbon to go around in it too. (I used my originally ribbon for the back of my chairs)

Where's Waldo

So tonight Wes "blew" all the leaves up into one HUGE pile...they were driving him crazy all over the backyard.

Then we tossed the dogs right in the middle of them...hilarious! We do this every year and they love it! Can you spot waldo??? aka Lyla 

Poor girl...she doesn't "enjoy" it as much as Hemi does. 

His tail was waggin' wild!

Our wedding is going in CITISCAPES!!!! I'm SOOOOOO excited I can hardly stand it!!! It will be featured in the wedding edition January 2011!
