Guess Who's Back....

Angela is back!!! When Angela is in town we do something EVERY single night. She comes over every night to use the internet, Wes loves it...HA! Monday night all the girls came over to watch the finale of the bachelorette, Tuesday we all went to She Said Yes to try on bridesmaid dresses and then dinner, Wednesday night we cooked pork chops at home, lastnight we cooked burgers and Allison and I went up to try on her dress. Whewwwww...I'm tired! Tonight we're all going to eat at La Huerta and then we're going out. Angela always gets everyone together to go out to eat and out!!! Wes and Bert are eating with us and then bailing out to go fishing, what the heck!

Candy Bar

I LOVE CANDY!!! I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, I know it's a bad habit and I wish I didn't have it but I do so deal with it. Every time I eat I have to finish it up with something good and sweet! So why wouldn't I want a "candy bar" at my wedding, I'm pumped! All the candy will be in canisters in only my colors, I think it will be sooooo cute. This is such a great party favor too! I love this picture of all green and brown tones of candy but mine will be my own variation.

Wild Flower

Aren't they BEAUTIFUL!!! I picked them this afternoon out of Lynn's yard, ha! I love them soooo much! I always have some kind of flowers around the house. I bet these weigh 30lbs...Wes had to carry them in for me. You can't really tell how big this vase is from the picture but it's HUGE!

Will you be my bridesmaid???

Here is my other bridesmaid...Allison! Her cake was sooo cute and yummy! Allison and I have become really good friends this year. I met her from Angela a few years ago and just recently we've gotten really close. We hang out with Al and Bert every weekend and probably 2 nights through the week when she's home, ha!!!

Angela is one of my bridesmaids....I asked her the night all the girls came over to watch the Bachelorette. I walked in with Ricks boxes and said I got dessert and Angela immediately grabbed it and said " I will open that" HAHA How did she know it was even for her???

Yummy cakes from Rick's Bakery! I was kinda upset with how they turned out but they tasted good! They were supposed to be turquoise and lime green but hey...what do you do!

Bachelorette Watch Party

Just an excuse for everyone to come over and hang out! Oh and Hemi LOVED it! He got sooo much attention, I would say Adrienne was his favorite tonight and then Lindsey and she doesn't even like dogs....oooops!

Will you be my Matron Of Honor

Meet my "Matron of Honor" yep...Laci! Who would have thought huh, ha! Rick's did such a good job on my little cake, I love it and it tasted sooo good! I gave her the cake on the way to Dallas, she was completely shocked. I wanted to do something that was different and who doesn't like Ricks cakes? So while we were there we did a little bridesmaid dress shopping and I finally found ones that I like a lot!

I love to Sun

This is what Wes and I did Sunday afternoon by oursleves. It was soooo relaxing! We love to go to a cove, get on our mattresses, and FLOAT AWAY! I can tell I got some sun on Sunday!

Lake Rats

Just call us 'lake rats' It seems like we spend all of our free time on the lake! Today Al and Bertle came out with us and then we cooked out at our house. The boys were being obnoxious so Allison and I ran to the mall. They had a bat pretending it was thier microphone and guitar. It was pretty hilarious and entertaining but then they started to get on our nerves, so we were out of here. Can't wait for Monday, Bachelor finale!!!

Dallas Trip

Laci and I made a quick trip to Dallas this week! We went to visit Samuel, here he is shopping away with his girls. He was being such a good boy. This was his first ride in his 'big boy' stroller. I think he liked being able to look around and check everyone out. Laci and I shopped ALL day, and I mean ALL day! We didn't get back home til 8:00! Samuel and Ashley called it an early day so little man could take a nap and chill at home. That night we ate at home since we were so tired. But first we ended a long shopping day with a great pedicure. Have I ever told you I love the Northpark mall, it's the greatest. Oh and Laci and I saw Melissa from the bachelor and Dancing with the stars. Laci saw her first and told me,
I didn't believe her, so we 'stalked' her. Not
really...BUT I wanted to make sure it was her.
Sure enough it was! She was in Macy's shopping
with a friend! That night the girls ate at Mi Cocina, mmmmmm it's soooo good! If you ever go you should have Earnie's Chicken, it's the best!Thanks to Thad for watching Samuel so we could have a girls night out. You know us though, we were home early. But first we had to make a trip to TCBY before we could return back home. Laci has NEVER been to a TCBY...WHAT??? I love that place, I wish we had one so bad! The choc/vanilla swirl is the best!

Late Night of Volleyball

Wes and I met up with some friends at the church lastnight for some night volleyball. This used to be what everyone did when we were in high school. I plated one game, and I'm horrible. But hey, I tried. I must say Bethany was the best girl there, she was really good. Poor thing I was on her team, sorry!
This is Luke begging like a little puppy for some food. This boy will eat anything and wants everything!!! He had a bottle, jar food, & those little disolvable things and then was begging Laci for some popcorn. How could you resist this little face....

This is Luke getting pretty tired, he had enough playing on the quilt by himself while everyone played volleyball. So we had to chase the ball a while.

He spotted his momma, he was giggling sooooo HARD. Andrea would turn around and talk to him for a second and he would crack up in his delirious laugh. He was soooo good and sweet.

Hard At Work

This is what I caught Lynn doing this afternoon while she was supposed to be working the store. She just couldn't resist herself, she had to go on a ride with Vic. I have to say it was pretty comical. She couldn't figure out how to get on it and then she kept asking his wife if he has ever wrecked before. Too late Lynn, you're driving out of the parking lot.

Ice Cream Brownies

Aren't these the cutest things EVER??? We went to Allison & Bert's house lastnight for dinner, we try to have them over or us there once a week for dinner and hang out! We cooked spaghetti, salad, bread, and I was in charge of the dessert. SO... what do you think? They are sooo cute and tasted soooooo good. Wes ate 2 in 5 minutes, whoa slow down boy!!!

Hemi goes 'tubbin'

Lastnight Wes and I went for a little boat ride with the dogs! We floated a little and I even took Hemi on a tube ride. Let's just say it was his 1st and last. He cried the whole time....When I got on without him he cried so I let him ride with me really slow and straight down the lake. He didn't like it one bit!!! He wanted out to swim on his own!!! Wes and I would be on our rafts and the dogs would be on theirs. Everytime I put Hemi on the raft he would jump off and swim to me and then swim to Wes and then around and around. He just loves to SWIM! Lyla likes to stay on her raft the whole time, she's a good swimmer but she doesn't like it near as much as Ham!

Midnight Swim & PBR

Saturday we ate lunch at Chik fil A and let Kimberly play a little while before taking her home and heading to Ruby's birthday party! Boy was it hot, luckily it was a swimming party so everyone could cool off. She racked up in the gift department, it looked like Christmas. Ruby got soooo many presents. She was in the best mood ever, swimming around like a litte fish with her floaties on. She didn't want to get too messy with her cake, she took small bites out of the side and then was done, ha! That night we headed to the PBR with our friends Laci, Danille, Sean, and David. It was sooooooo HOT so we all went to Danielle and Seans and went for a midnight boat ride and swim in the lake. I will admit, it was kinda scary but I got over it really fast since David threw me in, thanks Davo!

I'm not going to drown

Friday Wes and I headed out to the lake after work for some short relaxation. I called Kimberly to talk a minute and the first words out of her mouth was "I wanna come to my Haley's and go to that big pool in the boat" hmmmm, you know what that meant. She wanted to go so how could you say no. We picked her up on the way and hung out for about 2 hours. Hemi and Lyla love to swim, Hemi has to be right beside me at all times. It was like a 3 ring circus trying to keep up with 2 dogs and a 3 year old. Thank goodness for life jackets, ha! Kimberly kept saying "I'm not going to drown" I think she was worried about her life jacket. Wes and I kept telling her to move her arms and kick her feet to swim and that her life jacket wouldn't let her go under.
